Dr. Brown is an Attorney and Acupuncture Physician. She is licensed to practice law (Indiana only) and Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture in both Indiana and Florida. She graduated from SUNY Binghamton, Binghamton, NY (1988), Thomas Cooley Law School, Lansing Michigan, (1992) and the Atlantic Institute for Oriental Medicine, Fort Lauderdale, Florida (2011).
Travelling and learning about other cultures are interests Dr. Brown and her husband share. These interests, along with a job opportunity, took Dr. Brown and her husband to Suzhou, China for four years, where she personally experienced the power of natural medicine. After her healing experience in a rural countryside clinic, Dr. Brown decided to study Chinese Medicine and subsequently spent one and a half years (2006-2008) studying acupuncture and oriental medicine in China, completing her education and certifications back in the U.S.A.
Dr. Brown practices Acupuncture, Laser Therapy, Injection Therapy, Homeopathic and Herbal Medicine, and Essential Oil application for wellness. She practices in Florida as a board-certified acupuncturist (NCCAOM) and Acupuncture Physician (AP), and is a certified DOT medical examiner. Dr. Brown is also a certified Acupuncture Detox Specialist of the NADA protocol (Brighton Hospital, Michigan, 2008).
In her time off work, Dr. Brown and her husband enjoy travel and share many fun times with their two delightful, miniature dachshunds. She is also an avid orchid enthusiast and a published author of the book “Off the Meds”. You can buy her book on Amazon.
